Mission:

The 123MPAD is an Modification Table of Organization & Equipment (MTOE) unit. This means, by Army doctrine, we are a “go to war” unit. During stateside and or non-deployed status, the 123MPAD conducts training by supporting real-time missions in support of Command Information for the Arizona Army National Guard.

About Us:

The 123MPAD meets their training objectives by producing an Arizona Army National Guard magazine called the Heliograph. The Heliograph is a Command Information magazine that highlights the Arizona Army National Guard soldier. The production of the Heliograph ensures MPAD soldiers will increase their knowledge of Photography and Journalism – ensring the soldier has the skill set to produce a field expedient newsletter while in a deployed statusthat (combat or non combat).

The 123MPAD also produces a virtual “on-line” monthly product called Cadence. Cadence challenges the 123MPAD soldier to understand his or her skill level. Further, The 123MPAD produces various video products that allow for the historical documentation and preservation of the Arizona Army National Guard history. These video products focus our MPAD broadcasters to train on the the latest techniques and technologies.

All MPAD products and services test our soldiers abilities to understand their strengths and weakness in the areas of time management, attention to detail, personal motivation and Army soldier skill knowledge.

Ours is a real time learning environment. As our skills increase, the 123MPAD becomes stronger. Ultimatily, as the 123MPAD becomes stronger, the Arizona Army National Guard continues to become Army strong.
