| Lieutenant Colonel Burk is in his 22nd
year of service. Initially, he served a two-year active duty enlistment
as an Air Defense Artillery Operations and Intelligence Assistant with
the 7/7 ADA at Ft. Ord, California followed by a year with the 159th
Support Group, USAR, Helena, Montana. LTC Burk then completed Officer
Candidate School at the Montana Military Academy and was commissioned in
July, 1989. He served as a communications platoon leader for HQ, 163rd
AR BDE, Montana ARNG and with Company A/133rd Signal
Battalion, Illinois ARNG. He also served as Executive Officer and
Company Commander of Company A/133rd Signal BN. LTC Burk
joined the Arizona ARNG in 1997 and has served as Battalion Signal
Officer, 2/180th FA, Brigade Signal Officer, 153rd
FA BDE, Operations Officer, 852nd RAOC, Deputy Inspector
General, JFHQ, and is currently Commander, 258th RAOC. LTC
Burk has completed the Signal Officer Basic and Advanced Courses,
Combined Arms Services Staff School, and the Command and General Staff
Officers Course.

Command Sergeant Major Kevin K. Herzinger first entered military service in 1977 joining the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He was promoted to Sergeant before his discharge in 1982. In 1982 he enlisted in the Nebraska Army National Guard, E Troop 167th Calvary where he served as a Calvary Scout. In 1983 he joined the Arizona Army National Guard. His assignments include all leadership positions from Section Chief to Command Sergeant Major. He served as the First Sergeant for the 356th Signal Company, Phoenix, Arizona, Commandant Western Army National Guard Aviation Training Site, Marana, Arizona, Sergeant Major Joint Force Headquarters Arizona National Guard, Phoenix, Arizona, Commandant 215th Regional Training Institute, Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently the Command Sergeant Major for 258th Rear Area Operations Center, Glendale Arizona.
His military education includes PLDC, Fort Ord, BNCOC , Arizona Military Academy, (distinguished graduate), Ammunition Specialist BNCOC, Redstone Arsenal, Ammunition ANCOC, Redstone Arsenal (distinguished graduate), First Sergeant Course, Sergeants Major Academy and the Command Sergeant Major Course. Command Sergeant Major Herzinger has a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Human Resources.
