TO PROVIDE COMMAND, CONTROL, SUPERVISION, STAFF PLANNING, UNIT LEVEL PERSONNEL SERVICE, AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR ALL UNITS ORGANIC OR ATTACHED TO THE ATTACK/RECON BATTALION.

Commander's Comments

The Headquarters and Headquarters Company, better known as HHC, is a very complicated entity. HHC’s scope of responsibility includes S1 (Administration), S2 (Intelligence), S3 (Training/Operations), S4 (Battalion Supply), S6 (Communications/Signal), Aviation Medicine, HHC Supply, and last but not least Ministry. The Commander, CPT Reed, compares her command to “Herding Cats”, and after 4 months as HHC 1SG, 1SG Aragon would agree. Each section has a specific objective and they are always headed in a “thousand” different directions. In the end, we meet with one common goal and that is to ensure the needs of the Battalion are met.
