INTERVIEW COURSE DATES - The 2012 dates for the interview course have been

OWCP SUPVERVISOR TRAINING
- The HRO will be hosting the Office of Workers' Compensation (OWCP)
on 04, 11, 17th through the 19th & 25 April 2012 at various locations in Arizona.
The training will consist of Defense Civilian Personnel Advisory
Service (DCPAS) Computer Based Training Module, OWCP Forms that
should be issued in the event of an work related injury , and a
question and answer segment. All supervisors of federal
technicians are encouraged to attend. Additional information

UNION CONTRACT - The
updated Labor Management Agreement between The Adjutant General (AZ)
and Association of Civilian Technicians (ACT) Arizona Army Chapter
61, effective 01 October 2011, is now
posted on our site.

OWCP SUPERVISOR CBT -
Instructions are now available for supervisors to access and
complete the computer based training for OWCP.

HRO MEMO 11-05 - Effective 01 July 2011,
all Standard Form (SF) 182, Request for Training, must be received
in the HRO no-less-than 10 business days prior to the training start
date.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
APPLICATION (PAA) QUESTIONS: We now have a new email
address for your PAA questions....

Please direct all questions concerning the new PAA to the new email
address. This will allow us to streamline the process and
ensure the correct person is able to address the question/concern.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL
APPLICATION (PAA) - The new Performance Appraisal Application
(PAA) will be implemented beginning 01 October 2010. Training
was conducted in May 2010 throughout Arizona and we now have
training videos available for each part of the entire appraisal
process. The training videos required the use of Defense
Connect Online (DCO) and as such, you must have an account with DCO
to view the training videos. To create a DCO account, please
visit the DCO homepage
and click on the "Register" button in the upper left
corner of the page. We have created a
PAA page that links to the
videos, a request form to get a DVD of the training that was
conducted in May 2010, and other forms helpful to the PAA process.

EBIS & IRVS - Beginning 01 October 2010, the
National Guard will transition to the Employee Benefits Information
System (EBIS) / Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) serviced by
the Army Benefits Center-Civilian (ABC-C) located in Fort Riley, KS.
EBIS is an automated, secure, self-service Web application that will
allow Technicians to make health insurance, life insurance, Thrift
Savings Plan (TSP) contribution elections, military deposits, review
general and personal benefits information, and calculate retirement
estimates using a computer.
IVRS is an automated self-service program Technicians can access
from a touch-tone telephone system. Unlike the web-based EBIS,
IVRS will allow for transfer to a benefits counselor for additional
assistance.
