The HR-EEO Interview Course is held on the third Wednesday of each month from 0900 to 1100.  The HRO requires a minimum of five (5) students to conduct this course each month.  If the minimum requirement of students is not met, the class will be canceled.  This course is a requirement for all new supervisors and anyone who has not completed the course within the past three years.  Once the course has been completed, the individual will be able to serve on an interview board for three years without having to repeat the course.  Once the three years is over, a refresher course is required.  The course will provide instruction on how to design and administer a point-based matrix for both applications and interviews. Additionally, how to assemble and conduct an interview board; with examples of proper and inappropriate questions that can and cannot be asked during the interview process, will also be taught.

All course participants must print the four (4) associated files below and bring the course materials with them to the HRO Interview Course.  Training materials will not be provided by the HRO as the printing of these materials and handouts are cost prohibitive.

 PLEASE READ: 
1.  No one will be allowed to sit on an interview board until they have completed this course.  No exceptions! 
2.  If you plan to attend the course, please open and print the attachments below.  You will need to bring them with you to the course, since, as a method to reduce our paper use, we have discontinued providing hand-outs for the course.  If you fail to bring the paperwork, it will not be provided by the HRO, so please ensure to print the files and bring the paperwork with you. 
3.  The course begins promptly at 0900.  Anyone arriving late for the course will not be allowed entry into the class and will be rescheduled for a future date.  If you are coming from outside the Phoenix area, please allow enough time due to heavy freeway congestion traveling into the city.  Traffic will not be an acceptable excuse for being late to the class.  Please plan accordingly!
