"Be Resilient"

The Arizona National Guard Be Resilient Program outlines the new standard for supporting mission readiness and retention. The Be Resilient Program provides support to Commanders and Leadership to respond to issues of stress within the force. The intent is to meet the specific needs of Service Members and their Families by connecting them to appropriate resources and training. This will build a stronger force and improve overall health by recognizing and reducing stress injury and illness, substance abuse, and suicide.

The Be Resilient Program:

  •  Supports Army and Air Guard mission and retention.
  •  Strengthens the AZNG by building resilience in Service Members and their Families.
  •  Addresses the needs of Service Members throughout their career, from entry into the Guard until separation.
  •  Focuses on best practices and customization of programs for the Arizona National Guard.
  •  Strategically trains and equips key personnel throughout the force to respond to issues of stress.
  •  Provides AZNG Commanders, Leadership, Service Members and their Families a flexible menu of training options and vetted resources to respond to their current needs.
  •  Serves as a centralized point of engagement and coordination for internal (Guard) and external (community) assets and resources.
